Our Vision

Through participation in programs, events, initiatives, and opportunities offered by the Office of Leadership in Engagement at Wake Forest, students will feel empowered and prepared to cultivate a more purposeful, caring, and just community where everyone belongs.

Our Mission

The Office of Leadership Engagement creates pathways for students to explore their leadership identity, empower themselves through community engagement, and lead towards a more compassionate and just world.

Our Knowledge Areas

  • Describe their personal identity and leadership style in relation to others and explain what they have learned about themselves through leadership experiences.
  • Communicate their own perspectives effectively, listen deeply to others, and engage constructively in dialogue across differences.
  • Critically examine how their own biases, assumptions, and perceptions influence their understanding of leadership and community issues.
